The main resources of the CCG

The Community is a public organisation of cooperation between several communes functioning with the following resources :

• Taxes: the CCG receives money from 4 taxes on households.
  The CCG determines the specific rate next to those determined by the department and the region :
  
  • council tax : paid by each household occupying a housing
  • property tax on construction : paid by the owner of land with a construction
  • property tax on land without construction : paid by the land owner
  • business tax: paid by every business.
• The total allocation for running costs (DGF) paid by the state.
  Amount DGF in 2005 = 767 727 € (799 482 € in 2004)
  • The cross-border funds (or Geneva funds) paid by the department to the CCG supplement the resources and finance the equipment (gymnasium) or the public transport used by people working across the border.
