The English version of the website is still being worked on. Situated between the Mont Salève and the mountain of the Vuache the Community (Communauté de Communes du Genevois (CCG)) is an association of 17 French communes just across the Swiss border. Thus this territory profits of an exceptional situation: Geneva’s Southern Gateway just 15 minutes off the international airport of Geneva Cointrin. These communes are as well located directly near major routes serving the Alps or the urban region of Lyon (Motorway A40 and A41). The Community which was created in January 1996 has today about 34.000 inhabitants. Communauté de Communes du Genevois Our offices are open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30a.m. to 12a.m. and from 2p.m. to 6p.m. The Canton of Saint-Julien is twinned with the town of Mössingen: look at the page of the twinning |
