The CCG took
the responsibility of the waste
water treatment on January 1st
2003. Before, the responsibility was held by the communes and
associations.
The responsibility about rainwater treatment is
still held by the communes.
Since 2003, the CCG
has supported the communes by revising their urbane documentation
in order to elaborate their zones of waste water management as it
is imposed by the 1992 water law.
The
complete network of waste water management is leased to the
"Société VEOLIA
eau" with 3 contracts:
- BFNP (the
communes of Beaumont, Feigères, Neydens and Présilly)
: contract from January 1994 till the end of December 2008
(after signature of an addendum in December 2005 which allowed
the negotiation of a lower fee for the farmer)
- St. Julien en
Genevois : contract from January 1997 till the end of December
2008
- 12 communes : contract from January 2003 till the end of
December 2008
In 2005, the
CCG engaged work for 1 539 000 € in the communes
(essentially the placing of collectors and connections).
