Sports hall of the Community

The CCG planned during the elaboration of the SCOT to equip the communes St. Julien, Valleiry and Collonges with sports halls.

Since 1997 the pupils of the Lycée de Staël in St Julien as well as the sports clubs profit of a sports hall for indoor sports and a hall for gymnastic.

The strong demand from sports clubs has initiated the construction of the sports hall of the Vuache in the centre of Valleiry which since 2005 completes the equipment of the Community and facilitates the sports activities of the pupils.

The project of a sports hall for the Community in Collonges will start with a study in which the needs for the schools and associations will be evaluated. The result particularly the need for the Community will show in a pre-program and the possible financing by the Community will be suggested.
