During the construction of the A41 motorway the water supply of the Community of Cruseilles through the source of Douai will probably be disturbed. The Community thus has to find an emergency plan to obtain alternative resources in case of a problem.
The CCG started the work for a new drilling at Crache with new installations in order to supply the area of Cruseilles. The society GIE/ADELAC which is constructing the motorway is participating in the cost.
This program draws up a complete and functional assessment of the supply of drinking water and works out a development program for the 20 years to come which guarantees the supply of drinking water at a quantity and quality demanded. The study should be available at the end of the year 2006 and its costs are evaluated at about 120,000 € without VAT.
Besides these works and the maintenance of the network and the tanks the CCG conducts hydrologic studies in order to find new sources.
