An international research and training centre

The Technopole of the Site d'Archamps has from the beginning on a strategy of international cooperation as it includes the university centre. You already find ten fields of research and training as varied as microelectronics, management, pharmacy, physics etc…

New projects coming up today show the great creativity and intellectual richness of the region.

The Euro-Institute. The cooperation of universities is the driving force of the development of our region. Bringing the two Universities of Geneva and the Savoy together should in this respect be encouraged.

Already supported by the two departments of the Savoy and Haute-Savoie, this cooperation should develop and get permanent.

• Basic training and the ambition of an international grammar school. The characteristic of the Geneva region is unquestionable its cosmopolitanism. This has for consequence the presence of an international population and companies.
• The integration in the Geneva agglomeration is strongly linked to the consideration of this fact and to the development of European bilingual sections and higher education in biotechnology, biochemistry and service sector in the grammar school of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois.

In order to fulfil the concept and the objectives of the project "La Porte Sud de Genève" in its entity it is necessary to integrate during the planning other problematics linked to a development of a territory and forming the keys to succeeding a project.
