"When parents hope they offer their children the best education they show an excess of confidence."
Jean de La Bruyère
Social work is a tool to help people who are in a situation of social difficulty. For this task the CCG has recourse to the professionalism of the association "Passage", based in Annecy.
This association works as well on the territory of Annemasse and now also in the canton of St. Julien en Genevois.
The CCG is the intermediary between the communes on its territory and reports any need to the association.
Sylvia, Virginie and Marc are the street workers of the association « Passage ». They are entrusted with the educational mission to help the young people in difficulty to face the crisis of unemployment, lack of training, bad health and a psychological or family marginalisation. Their meetings are discreet either by contacting them by telephone or in their office in 1 Passage de la Ferronnerie in St. Julien.
